- The Douglasville Police Department is looking for a few good men. Rising Men of Douglasville is looking for men of all ages, races, and religions to stop by the meeting on Dec. 19. - Yesterday was the very special Christmas With The Cops Festival, featuring the Douglas County Police Department. Located in the Douglasville Police Department, the popular event welcomed children to celebrate the season with their local law enforcement. Children decorated ornaments, played games, and spent time with Santa Claus. In addition, there were choral performances and even a petting zoo for the whole family. - Dec. 17 is your last chance to try out the Santa Shop Experience! Visitors will get to enjoy cocoa and cookies with Santa Claus, walking around the Nichols Center Living Gift Shop, and will be able to do festive crafts and take family photos. - Mandela Market Holiday Days Holiday Festival will be open on Friday, offering you the chance to see the work of amazing local vendors and artisans. The Mandela Market is an outdoor market that is free to the public, and has all sorts of unique wares.
