- Douglasville's Chuck E. Cheese location underwent a remodel, making it the family entertainment company's 200th remodel to date. Updated features at the location include play pass and play bands to replace tokens, e-tickets, touchless payments, self-serve kiosks, and mobile table ordering. The Douglasville location celebrated the remodel with a grand re-opening yesterday complete with a purple carpet, free slices of cake, and a chance to win a birthday party. (PR Newswire)
- The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is looking to identify a burglary suspect who is accused of stealing a Simson Megashot Pressure Washer from a garage in nearby Lithia Springs in December 2022. The serial number on the pressure washer is MS61217. - Eleven Douglasville residents were arrested on Jan. 25, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office's daily arrest report. Martino Dameco Allen was arrested for possession of cocaine, Cody Wade Baker was arrested for two counts of simple battery, and Will Arthur Moon was arrested for child abandonment.
