Douglas County School System electronic learning allows instruction during Inclement weather.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA – Snow days have transformed into digital learning days for Douglas County students. Electronic learning now allows the learning to continue during unexpected snowy weather.
Using technology and planning, digital learning will empower students and families to make the most of the unexpected days away from the classroom. During inclement weather, teachers will post assignments online by 9 a.m. Instructors will then have “virtual office hours” and be available for questions between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. via email or other electronic means. Students will then work on their learning activities and class assignments from the comfort of home.
Douglas County Superintendent Trent North is excited that learning will continue during unplanned school closures.
