- The Douglas County School System is hosting an Educator Recruitment Fair on Tuesday, Mar. 7, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Chapel Hill High School's gymnasium. The fair aims to find dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives. School and district administrators will be present to discuss the school system and open positions, and prospective educators should bring teaching credential documentation and resumes if they plan to attend. - Governor Brian Kemp announced this week that Sam’s Club will invest more than $142 million in a new Douglas County fulfillment center located along the I-20 corridor in nearby Lithia Springs. - Douglasville's R&B Saturdays: Recreation-N-Brunch is coming up on Saturday, Mar. 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Fowler Field Park. - The Douglasville Police Department is providing two opportunities this month for those interested in a career as a police officer to speak with a hiring officer in a public setting. The department will have a hiring officer available at the Spring Community Job Fair on Saturday, Mar. 25 (10:00 a.m. to 3:00 o.m.) and the Spring Festival & Safety Expo on Saturday, Apr. 1 (10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
