Douglas County Hosts High School Football Media Day

The Douglas County School System (DCSS) will host its second annual Douglas County High School Football Media Day Tuesday, July 30. The event will be held at the Douglas County Board of Education Central Office, 9030 Highway 5 in Douglasville, beginning at 1 p.m., DCSS said in a news release.

Alexander, Chapel Hill, Douglas County, Lithia Springs, and New Manchester High School will be represented at the event. Each head football coach will attend with five players, DCSS said.

Each coach and group of players will be available for photos and to answer questions from the media. The Douglas County football season kicks off in August. The first home games matchups begin August 23 when Chapel Hill plays Newnan, Douglas County High plays Hillgrove and New Manchester plays Pace.
