Douglas County Schools Make Decision On Dec. 11 Schedule

BREAKING: The National Weather Service said several metro Atlanta counties could have black ice on roadways early Tuesday morning.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — Because temperatures are expected to drop overnight, there is the potential for black ice to develop in some areas. As a safety precaution, the Douglas County School System will delay opening by two hours on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Bus riders should expect their buses to arrive two hours later than the regular time. Staff members should report to their school or office two hours later than their regular report time. Please stay safe and warm tonight. The End of Course test for Physical Science that some high school students are scheduled to take on Dec. 11 will be given on Dec. 12.
