Douglasville Area Restaurant Inspections: Gabe's, Yogli Mogli

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — Now that pandemic restrictions are being relaxed and restaurants are reopening, are you thinking of going out for a bite to eat? Then check out these inspection scores for restaurant and food-service operations conducted over the last two weeks in July in Douglasville, Lithia Springs and all of Villa Rica.

All restaurants inspected passed, most posted high scores and 10 of them posted a perfect 100. One of those restaurants was New China Road on Thornton Road in Lithia Springs, which passed with flying colors upon re-inspection after scoring only a 59 earlier in July.

How They're Rated

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points. Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70 and U for less than 70.
