Douglasville Cancels Fourth of July Parade
The fireworks display has been postponed until September.
Thursday's Fourth of July Parade has been canceled.
"The fireworks display scheduled for tomorrow evening has been postponed until Labor Day," according to an alert on Douglasville's website.
The weather has forced municipalities across metro Atlanta to cancel or reschedule their Fourth of July plans.
As of 1:24 p.m., Douglas County was under a flash flood warning until 7:15 p.m.
