  1. Did you hear? The City of Douglasville invites residents to enter the free "Deck the Homes Holiday Decorating Contest!" Decorate the exterior of your home, snap a photo, and then submit your photos here by Dec. 5. (City of Douglasville via Twitter)
  2. On Tuesday, Dec. 13, Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is hosting an in-person Public Hearing Open House (PHOH) in Douglas County to discuss the I-285/I-20 West Interchange Project. Vice Chair and District 2 Commissioner Kelly Robinson said, "These public hearings are vitally important in allowing citizen input, participation, and ownership in a much-needed solution to interstate congestion on the eastern corridor of I-20."
