DOUGLASVILLE, GA – The Community Development Department will be hosting a three-part lunch and learn series to educate citizens, local businesses, and entrepreneurs on the foundational aspects of economic development as well as the development opportunities within the City.

“This lunch and learn series will provide participants with insight on how to start a small business in the City of Douglasville,” Economic Development Manager, April McKown, said. “We will also deliver an overview of the economic climate and provide information on business support tools that are available.”

Individual sessions will include guest speakers who have expertise in their specific topic. Speakers for the series are comprised of City staff from the Community Development and Finance Departments, the Douglas County Economic Development Authority, the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center, and private industry.
