Douglasville Intersection Gets Pop Of Color

The logo will help celebrate the City of Douglasville's 144th birthday.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – The next time you're driving east or west on Church Street, when you get to the three-way stop at Price Avenue, take a moment to check out the Douglasville logo painted on the crosswalk.

The logo was the idea of City Councilman Terry Miller during discussion of the City of Douglasville's 144th Birthday Celebration. He wanted a symbol to welcome residents and visitors to downtown Douglasville.

The City of Douglasville will celebrate Douglasville’s 144th Birthday and invites residents, businesses and the public to join them at the Douglasville Conference Center at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, to commemorate the occasion.
