Douglasville Man Arrested On Alabama Murder Charge
Authorities say the Douglasville man is responsible in an October 2019 murder.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Douglasville man was arrested and charged with a 2019 Alabama murder, according to authorities. Marcus Hubbard, 49, is accused of the Oct. 24, 2019 murder of 38-year-old Rodney Caliste.
According to authorities, Hubbard was arrested while leaving his Douglasville home on Jan. 15. Authorities also carried out search warrants which resulted in narcotics charges for Hubbard.
Once the narcotics charges are complete, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said, Hubbard will be extradited to Alabama.

The alleged murder took place in Dothan, Alabama, releases from Douglasville and Dothan authorities say.
The Dothan Police Department and Douglas County Sheriff's Office are working together on the case and more arrests related to the case are possible, the Dothan Police Department said.
