Yesterday, Dec. 9, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public's help in locating 42-year-old Terrice Montie Smith, who is wanted for aggravated child molestation, child molestation, and statutory rape. Officials said Smith was known to be living in the area of Dallas Highway near Stewarts Middle School in Douglasville, but he could also be in the area of Lake Monroe Road off of Fairburn Road. Contact Investigator William Hamrick at 678-486-1235 with any information on Smith's whereabouts. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. On Sunday, Dec. 18, the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County (CAC) and Douglas County Connection will host "The Kwanzaa Experience," a free event open to the public. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., celebrate the holiday and the seven universal principles of Kwanzaa at the Cultural Arts Center. (Press Release Desk)
