- Fire officials are searching for a possible witness after a fire broke out at a Brookfield Village home. Officials say that the fire began around 6:00 p.m. on Mar. 8, and the cause is still unknown as of Tuesday evening. The person can be seen in a surveillance photo wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and headphones. Anyone with information is asked to call the fire department. (Douglasville Patch)
- A Douglasville native was featured in The Ohio State University's Buckeye Spotlight. Katelyn Abeln, who competes at the collegiate level in air pistol, is a senior at OSU. She won the national championship in the three-event aggregate and air-pistol events at last weekend's Intercollegiate Pistol Championships. (Ohio State University)
