  1. Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga, campaigned for the final weekend ahead of the runoff election. Douglasville resident James Riley attended the rally with other members of the Black Male Initiative Fund. Riley brought his two young sons to get them involved in the political process and said every vote counts and not to give up. (The Janesville Gazette)
  2. Zachariah Keith, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound defensive end from Douglas County High in Douglasville, officially committed to West Virginia University (WVU) on Sunday, Dec. 4. Keith chose WVU over offers from many other teams. (WV Sports Now)

The need is critical, please make your appointment to donate on Dec. 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by going to redcrossblood.org and scheduling a time to give back to others (use sponsor code CDPD).
