Douglasville Restaurant Scores: Daruma, Marco's Pizza And More

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — All of the Douglasville restaurants inspected in the last week scored As on their restaurant inspections, and one of them is not even open yet, but will open soon.

A total of seven Douglasville restaurants and food-service operations were inspected since Dec. 2 — the last time Patch posted a restaurant score roundup for the area. One of the restaurants, The Original Hot Dog Factory, is set to open Dec. 20, according to its Facebook page.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70 and U for less than 70.
