Douglasville Teen Among Trio Held In Cobb Sexual Assault

Kristopher Garner, 17, of Douglasville, Matthew Perkins, 17, and Michael Anderson, 19, both of Powder Springs, are accused of sex assault.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- Three teenagers are behind bars in Cobb County after being arrested in the alleged assault of a woman at a house party, Patch has learned. The incident occurred on July 1 in the 3300 block of a home on Mustang Drive in Powder Springs, authorities said.

Kristopher Garner, 17, of Douglasville, Matthew Perkins, 17, and Michael Anderson, 19, both of Powder Springs, are being held on sexually assault charges. The victim told Powder Springs police that she was sexually assaulted at the house party, then driven to Perkins' home, where she was sexually assaulted again, according to WAGA-TV.

Garner faces a sexual battery charge while Anderson is being held on an aggravated sodomy charge, according to Cobb Sheriff's Office records. Perkins is being held on sexual assault charges in this case but also theft, disorderly conduct and reckless conduct from another case.
