Douglasville's 4th Of July Fireworks Postponed, Parade Canceled

Expect your Douglasville fireworks on Labor Day 2020 instead. In the meantime, there are other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – July 4 events across the country will not look the same in 2020, thanks to the coronavirus.

Many localities have been forced to cancel Fourth of July events, but Douglasville is taking a different tack: It’s postponing them. Mayor Rochelle Robinson said earlier this month the fireworks will be postponed until Labor Day 2020. The July 4 parade has been cancelled outright.

Due to the pandemic, counties or cities may adjust or cancel events at the last minute. Check your event before you go.
