DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The city of Douglasville's "Miracle on Main Street" Christmas parade and tree lighting is coming back to downtown Douglasville this week after its pandemic hiatus.

This year's parade is set for Friday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m., starting at Campbellton Street and ending at Club Drive. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place immediately following the parade in front of the Douglasville Conference Center.

The free holiday event will also feature letter writing to Santa, Christmas crafts, photos with Santa or live reindeer, hot chocolate for sale, and a photo booth with Christmas props. A parade map is available online here. It also includes spots where free parking is available.
