Douglasville Mayor Harvey Persons finished second in a three-candidate race for his seat in Tuesday’s general election.

Persons was second with 758 votes (27 percent) to Rochelle Robinson’s 1,293 (47 percent); Terry Miller drew 712 votes (26 percent).
