Fite Senior Center Opens Tuesday To Accommodate Early Voting
Originally scheduled to open for advance voting on Oct. 19, the Woodie Fite Senior Center instead opened Tuesday to handle high demand.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglas County on Tuesday opened the Woodie Fite Senior Center for advance voting, six days ahead of schedule.
The decision to open the center early follows a record-setting first day of advance voting in Georgia. The Associated Press reported that more than 128,000 Georgians went to the polls Monday, breaking the previous early-record voting of 91,000 in 2016.
All Douglas County advance voting locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on these dates
