  1. Fowler Field Park in Douglasville, a favorite among families, outdoor enthusiasts, and nature lovers, is in need of rejuvenation following rainy days. The "Perk Your Park" initiative aims to enhance the park's resilience, sustainability, and overall enjoyment. To support this effort, individuals can nominate Fowler Field Park daily through Sep. 18 via the website, with plans to utilize funds for essential improvements like a rain garden for efficient stormwater management and trail enhancements for year-round accessibility.   2. The Douglasville Police Department is organizing a Town Hall Meeting focusing on Gang and Drug Identifiers for parents, followed by a discussion on Crime Statistics for Douglasville.
