Jersey Mike's Subs Hiring, Opening Soon In Douglasville

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced and fresh grilled subs, will be opening soon in Douglasville. With the "hiring" and "coming soon" signs in the window, it seems as though the opening is eminent, even if the company has not released the date yet.

The new restaurant is part of the recently-renovated Arbor Square at Hwy. 5 and Douglas Blvd. The four other relatively-new retailers are: HomeGoods, Burlington, Bealls Outlet and Del Taco.

Arbor Square is one of Douglasville's oldest shopping centers. Situated at one of the city's busiest intersections, atHwy 5 and Douglas Blvd, the property has been in Connolly's portfolio since originally built in 1977.

"We've had ties to Douglasville for four decades and wanted this renovation to be what this site at Main & Main and the people of the community deserve," said J.R. Connolly, CEO of Connolly, in January of 2018 when new stores started opening in the center.

"We've been planning the redevelopment of Arbor Square for a quite a while; and we waited for the perfect combination of high quality anchors before kicking our renovation into high gear," he said.

Arbor Square continues to feature Tile & Stone Express, Boost Mobile and Monterey's Mexican Restaurant.
