Keep Douglasville Beautiful Wins State Honors

Keep Douglasville Beautiful has been selected for several statewide awards for 2018.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – Keep Douglasville Beautiful has been selected for several statewide awards for 2018.

Keep Douglasville Beautiful has taken first place in the Affiliate Award for overall programs and practices that promote a cleaner, greener, more beautiful community. They also placed first in State Litter Prevention Award for their PSA video and litter index scoring.

Additionally, they also earned a second-place award in the State Community Beautification Award for work on and dedication of the Military Honor Garden. The second place for State Affiliate Innovation Award was also given to Keep Douglasville Beautiful for their "TrashMob" video PSA.

To round out the success Keep Douglasville Beautiful has achieved for the 2018 year, Craig McManus, owner of McPlants Landscape Services, has been selected as Man of the Year.

These awards were officially presented to Keep Douglasville Beautiful at the Annual Keep Georgia Beautiful Awards Luncheon Dec. 6 at the Macon Marriott Center in Macon.
