Lithia Springs High School Hosts Life Skills Boot Camp
Lithia Springs High School students are getting a head start on life after high school.
DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA -- At Lithia Springs High School, students are getting a head start on life after high school. For one day only, educators devoted an entire day to teach the life skills necessary for success after high school.
Community volunteers stepped into the classroom to teach critical skills such as applying to college, budgeting, first aid, cooking, creating healthy relationships, and even how to change a flat tire. Lithia Springs High School Principal Albert Lindsey says this event will set students up for even greater success after graduation.
“These mini life skills sessions have inspired our students to continue planning and thinking about their college and career plans,” Lindsey said. “I am grateful that the professionals in our community share our passion and mission for equipping students for success after high school.” Lithia Springs High School educators hope the skills and knowledge students gain from Life Application Day will empower them to succeed now and into the future.
