Man Charged With Armed Robbery, Cruelty To Children

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglasville police have arrested a man in connection with several armed robberies, according to a release from the department.

Chason Omari Henry, 21, was arrested on Sept. 13 on three charges of armed robbery and two of cruelty to children.

Police say he was arrested in connection with three ATM robberies at Bank of America, United Community Bank and Regions Bank in Douglasville.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Henry's cruelty to children charges are felonies for causing "excessive physical or mental pain."

He's being held without bail.
