  1. A girl who was reported missing in Douglas County has been found. Alvonna Webb, a 12-year-old with autism, went missing after leaving school on Thursday afternoon. Douglas County deputies reported that they found her just before 7:3o p.m. the same day. (WSB-TV)
  2. Winners have been announced for the third annual Wonderland Yard Art Contest! The contest, held by Douglas County and the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville (CAC), invited participants to erect lawn art in the front yard of the CAC. Entries were judged on how well they applied the Wonderland theme, appearance, and durability, with bonus points for entries that included recyclable materials. The first-place winner in the contest was the Lithia Springs Public Library. (Douglasville Patch)
  3. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has issued a warning about drunk birds this spring. Birds may become intoxicated by eating fruit that has gone bad and started to ferment. Birds that are intoxicated may have decreased coordination and less ability to fly, which could cause them to crash into windows or other objects. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  4. Down the road, the city of Atlanta has ranked in the top five cities with the quickest rising inflation, according to a report from WalletHub. The report compared 22 major metro areas using the Consumer Price Index. The report first looked at the latest month with available data, then compared that to data from two months ago and one year ago to determine how much inflation has changed in a particular city.   5. Today, Apr. 15, the Douglasville Police Department is hosting a Community Yard Sale. The event will take place at 2083 Fairburn Road from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is set to take place rain or shine. Along with shopping, attendees can also enjoy snacks from New York Style Hot Dogs.
