The Douglas County School System is offering COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week for eligible residents, including children age 5 to 11.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — With the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine now available to children ages 5 to 11, Douglas County School System and Premier Drugstore are partnering to offer more vaccine clinics for eligible residents, including the new eligible age group.

The vaccine will be offered from 2 to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Monday, Nov. 15 at Annette Winn Elementary School
  • Tuesday, Nov. 16 at Beulah Elementary School
  • Wednesday, Nov. 17 at Dorsett Shoals Elementary School
  • Thursday, Nov. 18 at Factory Shoals Middle School
  • Friday, Nov. 19 at Factory Shoals Elementary School
The vaccine events are open to the public. You do not have to be a DCSS employee, student or family member to get vaccinated.

For children’s vaccinations, proof of parental consent is required. School officials ask parents to be prepared to provide the last four digits of the child's Social Security number or a copy of a parent’s insurance.

Those coming for second, third or booster doses are asked to bring a current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention vaccine card. Premier Drugstore also offers all vaccines in their store to eligible individuals from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
