- Suspects were charged in the recent murder of a 19-year-old at a Douglasville hotel. Police announced the charges for the three men that were taken into custody on suspicion of involvement in the incident. Andre Mitchell's charges included being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine, and murder. Charmon Smith's charges included being party to a crime of aggravated assault and felony murder. Dorian Edmonds' charges included being party to a crime of aggravated assault and felony murder (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- Be on the lookout for a missing adult in Douglasville. Brandon Joseph Paul was last seen at his residence in Douglas County. He is 35 years old and described as a black male standing 5’8”, weighing 220lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what Brandon was last seen wearing. - The Douglasville Police Department is hosting a Community Enrichment Meeting tonight. Join in on the conversation at 7:00 p.m. at the Douglasville Police Department Community Room. - There is still time to apply for former Atlanta Hawks player Mario West's "Defend the Dream" scholarship! Douglas County high school seniors are encouraged to apply. - Every Friday in March, kids can learn to create their own healthy snacks.
