New Dunkin' Set To Open In Douglasville
Formerlly known as Dunkin' Donuts, a new Dunkin' is set to open soon in Dougasville.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A new Dunkin is set to open soon in Douglasville. The location won't be a surprise for those curious Walmart shoppers who took a sneak peek into the construction going on at the front of the big box store, where the McDonald's used to be.
According to owner Chin Haynes, the goal is to open the new doughnut shop as early as next week. Haynes owns the other Douglasville Dunkin', on Highway 5, as well as the Dunkin' in Villa Rica. The Dunkin' on Highway 5 recently celebrated its 25th anniversary; and the Villa Rica location has been there since 2016.
"Being a third generation franchisee of Dunkin' with over 25 years of serving our Douglasville community, has been the highlight of my family's life," Haynes told Patch. "I am honored to continue to bring America's favorite coffee to those who live, work and serve in our backyard. Having grown up in this community, it's in our blood to ensure every guest who visits our stores knows how much our community means to us. Our focus is keeping our guests fueled, on the go, and smiling with every sweet sip!"

The main difference between the new store and her other locations will be that there won't be a drive-thru. There also won't be a Baskin-Robbins.

"Douglasville has extremely unique customers," she said. "They make it work here. A lot of people here are loyal. They make running a business here worth it."
Haynes said Walmart will be a good fit for her newest business.
"It's just an opportunity offered to me by the Dunkin' brand and it seemed like a good idea," she said. "I think you might expect to see more Dunkin' stores in Walmarts."
