Miller is currently serving as City Councilman from Ward 4 as well as Mayor Pro Tem for Douglasville.   2. Movie Magic is coming to Douglasville. Lionsgate Studios is opening a new film and TV complex just off I-20 at Fairburn Road in Douglasville. The complex will be located in "Great Point Studios" and will cover 40 acres and cost about $160 million to build. It will feature 11 sound stages. (WSB Atlanta)

  4. Douglas County authorities have made a fourth arrest in connection to the shooting that took place at a birthday party earlier this month. The 17-year-old was arrested on Wednesday and will face the same charges as the three others who were arrested on Tuesday. The shooting claimed the lives of three teens and injured seven others. The victims were not the target of the gang-related shooting. (Douglasville Patch)
