The Original Hot Dog Factory To Open In Douglasville

An Atlanta native will be opening a location of The Original Hot Dog Factory next week, offering gourmet hot dogs and more.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglasville is getting a new restaurant next week: The Original Hot Dog Factory — and an Atlanta native is behind the franchise's newest location.

Darius Alexander will open The Original Hot Dog Factory at 6920 Douglas Blvd. in Douglasville on Monday, Dec. 20 with a grand opening celebration at 1 p.m.

"If you know me from Jonesboro High, Tri-Cities, the skating rink, or These many jobs I’ve had come and support your boy and get a Hotdogs or some Wings!" Alexander wrote on the business' Facebook page.

The franchise offers a variety of unique, gourmet hot dogs — such as the Detroit Coney, the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Dog, the Chicago Dog, the New Yorker, the Atlanta XL Footlong and more — with tons of topping options, as well as a burger, fries, wings, grilled chicken sandwich, a house salad, corn dogs, corn dog nuggets and onion rings.
