Parental Accountability Court Program Kicks Off In Douglas County
A meet and greet event will celebrate the start of the first-ever Parental Accountability Court program in Douglas County.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – Douglas County Superior Court Judge Cynthia Adams and Juvenile Court Judge Michelle Harrison will host a meet and greet on Friday, Feb. 8, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Citizens Hall of the Douglas county Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive, Douglasville. The event will celebrate the start of the first-ever Parental Accountability Court program in Douglas County.
The Parental Accountability Court program is a joint effort of the Georgia Department of Human Services Division of Child Support Services and Superior Court Judges to offer an alternative to incarceration and to help chronic non-payers of child support make regular payments.
The program utilizes community resources to address barriers that keep parents from meeting their support obligations.
