Pizza Eater Wins Big In The Holiday Buy Local – Win Big Contest

DOUGLASVILLE, GA – The Douglas County Chamber, Main Street Douglasville, and Main Street Villa Rica partnered together to “challenge” the community to BUY LOCAL during the 2018 holiday season. The Buy Local – Win Big Contest was presented by Bank OZK and media partners; Chapel Hill News and Views and Villa Rica News and Views.

Throughout the contest, participants submitted receipts received after they made a purchase at any Chamber member business, Main Street Douglasville and Villa Rica Main Street business with the hopes of becoming the one lucky winner of $1,000. After receiving over many entries, Chris Dixon was announced as the grand prize winner and the winning business was Fabiano’s Pizzeria in downtown Douglasville, winning $500.

Dixon commented, “I love working in downtown Douglasville where there are so many great restaurants and shops within a one block walk from City Hall. If you expand that circle to just five miles, the possibilities expand exponentially. Douglasville is blessed to have such a thriving local business community.”
