- The Douglasville Police Department is in desperate need of blood donations this holiday season. The department is asking residents throughout the area to give a potentially life-saving gift by donating blood. The event is scheduled for Dec. 20 from 11:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Registration is required to donate. (Douglasville Police Department via Facebook)
- On Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m., the Douglas County Board of Commissioners will be launching the holiday season officially. The board will be holding the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony outside the Douglas Courthouse. Besides the tree lighting, there will be vendors, events, and holiday fun!
