- A local man was killed in a crash on I-20 over the weekend. The victim, 24-year-old Andrew Slay of nearby Villa Rica, was pronounced dead on the scene after a two-vehicle crash on I-20 westbound near the Liberty Road exit. His car collided with a tractor-trailer Saturday afternoon. (Times-Georgian)
- Douglas County School System started accepting applications for transfers today. Parents and guardians can send their students' applications for School Choice Transfers until Apr. 27.
