Road Rage Leads To Gunfire, Woman Sought: Douglasville Police

Douglasville police are searching for a woman who is accused of shooting at another car five times in a road rage incident last week.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglasville police are searching for a woman who they say was involved in a road rage incident last Thursday on Interstate 20.

Around 6:20 p.m. Thursday, a white Chevy Colorado Z71 attempted to get away from an unknown black car similar to a Dodge Dart on I-20 between Post Road and Highway 5, according to police. The black car then started following the Chevy where they both exited onto Highway 5.

They drove behind the Cricket Wireless location at 9443 Highway 5 when the driver of the black car shot at the Chevy five times, police said. A stray bullet hit the front window of the Waffle House on Highway 5 as well.

The driver of the black car is described as a Black female with black and yellow braids, and possibly had children in the car.
