- The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating 17-year-old Alex Williams. Williams is described as a blonde, white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and is believed to be a runaway. - Members of the Douglas County community are invited to participate in a review of the Streamlined Consolidated Local Educational Agency Improvement Plan. Students, parents and guardians, school staff, and other interested community members are invited to share their thoughts on the plans to support students in Douglas County Georgia School. - The Douglasville Police Department will host its second annual Cars and Cops Car Show next Saturday, Jun. 17, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Community members are invited to register their vehicles for $25. - The Independence Exhibition is now on display at the Douglas County Courthouse through Jul. 14. Stop by the exhibit on the third floor, or visit the Community Atrium on Jun. 15 at 6:30 p.m. for the Douglasville Juneteenth Celebration.
