'Stranger Things' Block Party Set In Downtown Douglasville
For one night only, portions of downtown Douglasville will turn into Hawkins, Indiana for a "Stranger Things" party. Get the details here.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — In honor of "Stranger Things Day" Nov. 6, the Douglasville Convention and Visitors Bureau is transforming downtown into the fictional Hawkins, Indiana for a Stranger Things Block Party.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the town's biggest landmarks and participate in various "Stranger Things" activities. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday and run through 11 p.m.
A primary stop will be at the Palace Arcade, where fans can listen to hits from the 1980s — the time period in which the show is set — and check out cutouts of some of the show's most iconic characters. The former laundromat, located at 6501 Church St., was transformed and used for filming as the arcade in the actual show.
