Sunrise Service at O'Neal Plaza

organized Easter sunrise services this morning at 7 at . Heritage Baptist's senior pastor, the Rev. Gene Fields, presided over the service, whose message was "Empty Promises" (Luke 24:1-12).

On piano, Carol Emerson played the prelude. LuAnn Bryant, the church's music director, led the choir during the opening praise, "He Lives" (Revelation 1:18); the choral reflection, "I Will Arise" (Machan/Harland); the hymn, "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today" (Wesley); and the benediction, "He Is Lord" (Barker). Mark Winstead performed a guitar solo, "He's Alive" (Boltz).
