Taste Of Douglasville Returns Saturday To Downtown

The Taste of Douglasville festival has drawn more than 12,000 attendees in past years, making it one of the biggest events in the county.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Taste of Douglasville, the city’s biggest annual festival, returns to downtown Saturday for a 29th year, starting at 11 a.m. and running until 5 p.m.

This year’s Taste of Douglasville will also mark the first full festival since 2020, just as the pandemic was gaining momentum.

The festival combines food, vendors, performances and children’s entertainment to showcase the best of Douglasville. Admission is free, with food tastes ranging from $1 to $4. The event helps the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County fund arts activities for youth and gallery exhibits at the Roberts-Mozley House.

According to The Douglas County Sentinel, more than 130 vendors will be set up, along with more than 45 arts and crafts booths and more than 25 business and community-group booths.

The event has drawn more than 12,000 attendees in the past, making it Douglasville’s biggest one-day event of the year.

For those who want to avoid traffic, Connect Douglas will provide free shuttles to Taste of Douglasville, running from 8800 Dorris Road to one of two festival drop-off points every 20 minutes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
