Teacher 4 A Day Kicks Off; Applications Now Being Accepted

Teacher 4 a Day will give these community supporters a sneak peek at the teachers making a difference and helping students succeed.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — The Douglas County Chamber, Douglas County School System, and Brighten Academy will bring together teachers and the community-minded volunteers passionate about Douglas County students, March 27.

Teacher 4 a Day will give these community supporters a sneak peek at the teachers making a difference and helping students succeed. The annual program celebrates excellence in education and showcases the schools and students in the Douglas County School System.

Teacher 4 a Day is sponsored by the Douglas County School System, Brighten Academy, and the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce. Participants may select from a morning session that runs from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., or an afternoon session from noon until 3 p.m.

Applications are being accepted now through March 12. DCSS will notify volunteers of their school assignment by March 20.
