1. Keep your child entertained and learning at the same time at the Douglas County Public Library. The next Storytime event for small children will be held on Jan. 9. There will be stories, music, games, and more! Be there at 10:00 a.m. to get in on the fun. (WGRZ)
2. Let the whole family get creative together with this fun painting class. Painting With a Twist on GA-5 in Douglasville will be holding a special Family Event at noon on Jan. 14. The Douglasville Police Department will be holding its next Community Enrichment Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. These meetings are designed to help local residents get more involved in programs that better the Douglasville community. On Jan. 10, Parks Community will be hosting the Community Vision Board Workshop at Ike Owings Community Center at Hunter Park.
