$30K Reward Offered For Info About Armored Car Robbery

A Loomis employee was ambushed at the front door of a bank and a "substantial amount of money" was stolen, officials said.

Atlanta, GA -- The FBI is asking for the public’s help to identify the person or people who robbed an armored car crew at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1459 Moreland Ave., Atlanta, March 21. Loomis Armored US, LLC is offering a reward of up to $30,000 for anyone who provides information to the FBI that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people involved in the robbery.

A Loomis employee was delivering a substantial amount of money to the bank at around 12:48 p.m. when he was ambushed at the front door of the bank by a man described as wearing a black skull mask and a black hoodie. The man demanded the money and forcefully took it from the employee.

Several people witnessed the robbery but some of them were gone by the time police arrived at the scene. The FBI would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crime.
