The Factory Shoals Middle School Magnificent Steppers performed at the UniverSoul Circus preshow in Atlanta.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — The Factory Shoals Middle School Magnificent Steppers stole the hearts of audience members as they performed at the UniverSoul Circus preshow Feb. 16 in Atlanta.

The Douglas County School System Reported that many Douglas County fans showed up to support them in this unforgettable experience.

UniverSoul is the largest surviving circus in the country, combining traditional circus arts with an eclectic mix of music, ranging from hip-hop to Caribbean rhythms to African beats.

They've returned to Atlanta, where they started 26 years ago. With roots in Georgia, they travel all over the country. They were founded in 1993 by Atlanta resident Cedric Walker, a concert promoter who wanted to showcase multicultural talent.

The circus boasts talent from around the world with Caribbean dancers, a Cuba trampoline act and an Ethiopian ringmaster Daniel “Lucky” Malatsi.
