Changing A Flat Tire, Life Changing For Family Mourning Death
A GoFundMe page has been set up for Najee Clarke after he was hit and killed by an accused drunk driver.

DULUTH, GA -- A Gwinnett County family is mourning the loss of a loved one who was simply changing a flat tire on the side of the road when an accused drunk driver hit and killed him.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for Najee Clarke, 24, of Lawrenceville, who was attending to his disabled vehicle, which was disabled on Interstate 85 Saturday, when he was struck. Police say the driver who crashed into him was driving under the influence of alcohol and was charged with DUI and homicide by vehicle, first degree.
Police identified the at-fault driver as Amanda Parker, 33, of Norcross.

After initially being by Parker's vehicle, police say, the disabled vehicle was then struck by a tractor-trailer and caught fire. Although a bystander was able to pull Clarke to safety, it was too late. He died on the scene from his injuries.
