Cirque du Soleil Presenting 'Dralion' in Atlanta, Duluth

Performances scheduled Aug. 25-28 in Atlanta and Aug. 31-Sept. 4 in Duluth.

Cirque du Soleil will present "Dralion" in Atlanta and Duluth. The Atlanta production opens tonight Aug. 25 at Phillips Arena and continues through Aug. 28. Performances are scheduled at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth Aug. 31-Sept. 4.

“Dralion,” which fuses Eastern and Western cultures, will have seven shows in Atlanta and eight shows in Duluth. The show’s name is derived from the dragon, symbolizing the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West.

The four elements that govern the natural order take on a human form in “Dralion.” Each element is represented by its own color: Air is blue; water is green; fire is red; earth is ochre. Cultures blend, man and nature become one, and balance is achieved.
