Eric Millen of Duluth stopped at a QuikTrip in Marietta recently to pick up beef jerky and an energy drink. He also purchased an instant game Monopoly Millionaire lottery ticket. It was a lucky ticket. Millen, 44, won a $1 million top prize.
“I was on break from work when I stopped,” Millen was quoted in a press release issued by the Georgia Lottery. “I picked up a Slim Jim, a 5-hour ENERGY and a ticket. It was the only one I could see, and it was shiny.”
QuikTrip #0845, 600 S. Marietta Parkway in Marietta, sold the winning ticket. Millen waited until he got home before scratching the ticket.
