Duluth Symphony on the Green Series Starts Friday

Music by the Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra will waft over Duluth's Town Green Friday (June 17) evening as the Summer Stage Concert Series gets underway. The free Symphony on the Green concert featuring orchestral selections of popular and classical music starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Duluth Amphitheater, 3142 Hill St. 

Bringing chairs, food, beer and wine are allowed, but not tables. For a reserved seat close to the stage, premium tables may be purchased at www.duluthga.net. Concession sales will raise funds to send the symphony to New York City to perform Sept. 11.

The concert series continues July 15 with choral selections and Aug. 19 with orchestral and choral selections.
