Man Accused Of Trying To Entice Teen Girl In Norcross

The 36-year-old man was arrested and accused of sending explicit photos to someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl, Gwinnett Police say.

NORCROSS, GA — A 36-year-old man who police say sent explicit photos of himself to someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl and then tried to meet up with her has been arrested in Norcross.

Gwinnett County Police on Wednesday said they arrested Jonathan Dismang, who they say traveled from McDonough to Norcross to meet up with who he thought was a teenage girl he met on the internet and tried to entice.

The undercover investigation into Dismang began on Jan. 5. Police said after sending the photos of himself to the girl, he requested a meeting with her.

At the pre-determined meet location, police said they arrested Dismang on charges of use of computer service to solicit a child to commit illegal acts, criminal attempt to commit a felony and obscene internet contact with a child.

Gwinnett County Jail records on Wednesday showed Dismang was booked into the jail on Friday and is being held without bond.
